Since our founding in 1972, we have been steadily operating for over 50 years as a comprehensive manufacturer of industrial filters, emphasizing direct transactions with both domestic and international end users and plant companies.
Thanks to the continued support of our valued customers, we have been privileged to serve many clients in Japan and abroad.
Our greatest strength lies in our ability to provide tailored solutions for a wide range of industrial filtration needs by leveraging the extensive experience and expertise we have cultivated over the years. We take pride in our capability to meet each customer’s unique requirements with meticulously designed, one-of-a-kind filters.
In addition to supplying liquid and gas filter elements customized to our clients’ needs, we also offer equipment maintenance services. Furthermore, as an affiliated company of one of Japan’s leading membrane manufacturers, we have long been engaged in the made-to-order production and sales of equipment units incorporating membrane modules. Moving forward, we remain committed to advancing the water treatment field, including the provision of membrane modules.
As a long-term global trend, climate change shows no sign of slowing, and I believe the energy transition and decarbonization markets will continue to expand, despite potential challenges along the way. Our company has a proven track record in the battery-related sector, and we will continue to respond even more attentively to the needs of our customers in these growing markets.

Central Filter Mfg. is founded.
The business is reorganized as a joint-stock company.
The company enters into an operational alliance with Daicel Chemical Industries,Ltd. (currently Daicel Corporation) and begins selling Pearlcomb (a porous synthetic resin).
The company begins manufacturing and selling reverse-osmosis membranes and ultrafiltration systems following the establishment of the launch of a membrane (reverse-osmosis and ultrafilter membrane) office by Daicel Chemical Industries, Ltd. (currently Daicel Corporation).
The Osaka Branch (currently the Osaka Branch Office) opens.
Central Kikou Co., Ltd. is established.
Central Maintenance & Engineering Co., Ltd. is established.
The Technical Center opens.
(The new facility serves as the Central Filter Mfg. Group’s technology R&D center.)
Daicen-Membrane Systems Ltd. is established as a joint venture of Central Filter Mfg. Co., Ltd.; Central Maintenance & Engineering Co., Ltd.; and Daicel Chemical Industries, Ltd. (currently Daicel Corporation).
Central Maintenance & Engineering Co., Ltd. changes its name to Daicen Maintenance & Engineering Co., Ltd.
The Osaka Branch is reorganized to form the Osaka Branch Office.
The Engineering Division of Central Filter Mfg. Co., Ltd. earns ISO 9001:2008 certification.
The Osaka Branch Office moves to Fukushima-ku, Osaka.
Central Kikou Co., Ltd. changes its name to Central Maintenance & Engineering Co., Ltd.
June 2012 The Singapore Branch Office opens.
The Engineering Division of Central Filter Mfg. Co., Ltd. earns ISO 9001:2015 certification.
The company starts to take over the wastewater treatment total system business (rental equipment business) from Daicen-Membrane Systems Ltd.
CF & CZ Filter Pte.Ltd.(head office in Singapore)is established.
The sales function of the Singapore Branch is transferred entirely to CF & CZ Filter Pte.Ltd.
The entire business of Central Maintenance & Engineering Co.,Ltd. is transferred to Daicen Maintenance & Engineering Co.,Ltd.
Daicen Maintenance & Engineering Co.,Ltd. changes its name to CFEM Co.,Ltd.
The company signs a business partnership agreement with eSep Inc.(Kyoto Pregecture).
Central Filter Mfg. Co.,Ltd. celebrates the 50th anniversary of its founding.
CFEM Co.,Ltd. receives the transfer of the neutralization appartus manufacturing and sales busuness pertaining to artificial dialysis wastewater form Custom Industry Co., Ltd.(Onomichi City).
The founder and ownrer of our company, President Fumitaka Matsukawa,passed away. We would like to express our gratitude for your kindness extended to Fumitaka Matsukawa when he was alive.
